Thank you so much to the cast and crew of Emotion Sensitive, as well as the fantastic team at the Hudson Guild Theater and The New York Theater Festival for the amazing opportunity! The cast and crew would also like to thank:

  • Terry Plotkin for the technical assistance. https://www.facebook.com/terry.theedgyside.7&

  • Russell Plotkin for the transportation

&

  • -Nora Adams for the fantastic poster commission. www.noralynngraphics.com

Synopsis: A lonely widower invites a prostitute back to his apartment for some drinks, some company, and some nostalgia. While the woman of the night assumes she is in for a typical of evening carnal acts, sex is the furthest thing from her client's mind.

Characters:

Ido- A man in his mid-late thirties who has lost everything in the past few months; his wife, his job, and his will to live. While occasionally infuriating with his "sad sack" mentality he is an endearing man with a tragic story who one can't help but root for.

Helen- A prostitute in her early 30's. Despite her uncouth demeanor and "wrong side of the tracks" upbringing, she seems to have a soft spot for Ido.

Starring:

Directed By Christina Baurle

Cast Gifts:

The cast and director were gifted a wooden "present", already opened on the top so they did not have to worry about losing the nerve (see the show to get that). Inside was every feasible thing that could have been in Ido's box.
