Emotion Sensitive Has Been Cast

I'm happy to announce that we have cast my show Emotion Sensitive for Playbill's New York Theater Festival, the biggest venue/production I've had to date. Our very talented cast and crew consists of:

Nick Cancelliere - Ido

Kim Sweet - Helen

Christina Baurle- Director

Nora Mott- Poster Design

Synopsis: A lonely widower invites a prostitute back to his apartment for some drinks, some company, and some nostalgia. While the woman of the night assumes she is in for a typical of evening of carnal acts, sex is the furthest thing from her client's mind.

Characters:

Ido- A man in his mid-late thirties who has lost everything in the past few months; his wife, his job, and his will to live. While occasionally infuriating with his "sad sack" mentality he is an endearing man with a tragic story who one can't help but root for.

Helen- A prostitute in her early 30's. Despite her uncouth demeanor and "wrong side of the tracks" upbringing, she seems to have a soft spot for Ido.

The show will be at the Hudson Guild Theater, at 441 W. 26 St.(between 9th and 10th Avenues) in the center of Manhattan. Our show dates are September 7th (9pm), 9th (1pm), and 10th (6pm). For more information and to buy tickets, please go to http://newyorktheaterfestival.com/emotion-sensitive/
